Last week, Sunday was Nick's third day in this world, and it was not an easy one. Lacking food, BM's, wet diapers, and getting way too much sleep was a bad combo for all three of us. Still, the days following his birth Katy and I were overly optimistic about getting to church with him. Needless to say, it didn't happen. So, after a week of getting used to each others schedules, we were determined, God willing, to make it there this week. And the result...success!!!! Granted we were 15 minutes late, but hey, we're Grindy's, that's how we roll! Here's us becoming even more late by taking a few last minute photos before loading into the car.
And of course, what Sunday wouldn't be complete without an after church nap?! Now, Nick's nap took place during church, after church, in Sunday school, at Roadhouse Grill, and all the way home, but hey, who's counting! The longer the nap the better. We did wake him for two feedings in between all of the napping though. Here he is zonked out after the car ride home.
Then, having wiped out Katy too, sleeping with her in the chair in the nice Sunday afternoon sun.
