Mission Walking

Today we were trying to think of something to do that wouldn't cost a lot of money. We know that we are privileged to live on the central coast and so near to a ton of cool things, and we know we don't take near enough advantage of that. So somehow we came up with the idea that it would be really cool (and dorky) to say we've seen all the missions of California. Little did we know (it's been a long time since 4th grade) that there are 21 of them in California, from San Diego to north of Frisco. Fortunately, there are 3 of them within a half hour drive, Mission Santa Barbara, Mission Santa Ines, and La Purisima Concepcion. We decided to only go to the latter two today since we always go into Santa Barbara and have been to the mission there before. That's what all these crazy pictures are about. Hopefully you can figure out which mission is which since I did put an abbreviation before each, but you never know.

you guys are so funny.....the idea of seeing all of the missions is a good one but as Michelle and I found out in Italy there are just so many "basillica's" one can see before they all look alike..though they are beautiful. I especially like the one's with you guys in them. I love the side shots of you Katy :)
